Manama, Bahrain—25 August 2025: Bede Bahrain, the innovative microfinance solutions app, in partnership with General Assembly Bahrain (GA), a pioneer in tech education and career transformation and in strategic collaboration with Bahrain’s Labour Fund (Tamkeen) has recently recognized 5 aspiring UX Design students as part of GA’s immersive 3-month bootcamp.
During a special ceremony hosted by Bede and with the attendance of representatives from the Labour Fund (Tamkeen), General Assembly’s strategic partner, the students were honored for their achievements. As a core component of GA’s curriculum, students work on capstone projects with local Bahraini companies, and General Assembly Bahrain had selected Bede as one of these partners for the students’ final projects. The Bede-focused team examined the existing app services, identified user pain-points, and proposed practical enhancements to improve customer experience.
A.Nasser Al-Rayes, Bede Bahrain CEO, commented, “Bede is proud to be part of the General Assembly program, a key initiative that provides students with the hands-on experience they need to succeed in the workforce. We are particularly excited about the opportunity to implement the students’ UX design ideas in Bede’s upcoming enhanced new features. This initiative is a significant part of Bede’s ongoing contribution to the Kingdom’s Vision 2030, helping to develop a skilled, adaptable, and future-ready tech workforce.”
Ahlam Oun, Director of General Assembly Bahrain, commented, “Our collaboration with Bede on this UX project reflects General Assembly’s mission to equip Bahrain’s future digital leaders with the skills and industry experience to excel. Bede’s commitment to revolutionizing fintech makes it an ideal partner, and the fact that one of its UI/UX Designers, Hajer Ishaq, is a GA graduate from our inaugural Bahrain cohort in December 2022 speaks volumes about the caliber of our talent and their capacity to deliver impactful, user-centric solutions.”
As part of the closing ceremony, trophies were distributed to recognize outstanding efforts and teamwork, further celebrating the students’ transformation from learners to job-ready professionals. The event also served as a valuable opportunity for networking, knowledge exchange and exploring new horizons.
